I've been lucky in my career to work on some cool projects with talented people — first in comic books, then in video games.
I started as a freelance comic book artist, drawing for Marvel, DC Comics, Image, Dark Horse, and others. My work appeared in books like Deadpool, Batman, X-Men, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and The Books of Magic. I co-created BrainBanx with Elaine Lee and contributed to the Eisner Award-winning anthology The Big Book of Urban Legends.
I made the jump to games in 2001. I started as an environment and character artist on Star Wars Galaxies, worked my way up to Art Director, and spent over a decade at BioWare art-directing Star Wars: The Old Republic and its expansions. Since then, I've built art teams and directed projects across VR, mobile, and AAA development. I currently run DogHorse Studios, a consulting practice focused on art direction, team building, and production pipelines for game studios.
When I'm not making games, I write. My short story "A Dance in the Woods" won the Pen 2 Paper writing contest grand prize, and I've published stories in several anthologies. I'm currently working on my first novel.
